Standard spice bottles like McCormick's, you can fit 5 in the bottom if you stagger them to maximize space. On the top, you can fit 10 of the half-sized bottles staggered. If you are storing the half-sized bottles, make sure you do not use the foam spacers. It will cause them to shift when you rotate the shelf around. They sit fine on their own. The foam spacers should only be used for smaller bottles such as prescriptions that are small at the bottom and big at the top.

The Cabinet Caddy works best on a full flat surface. If you would like to use it in your pantry, it should still work but might shift around a bit as you use it. Other customers have put a thin board or piece of foam core in their pantry and it seems to work just fine.

The Cabinet Caddy comes fully assembled and does not screw into any surface. It stands on its own base, which has four rubber non-slip feet included on the bottom for a secure grip, especially when the unit is weighted down by whatever you're storing.

To maximize the variety of items you can store, the bottom shelves on the Cabinet Caddy are a little larger than the top ones. The bottom shelf holds items 5.25" tall x 2.5" wide. The top shelf holds items that are 4.0" tall x 2.5" wide.
